DB&A is committed to philanthropic efforts and has partnered with the Make-A-Wish® Foundation since 2013. Wishes are more than just a kind gesture and far more than gifts or singular events in time, impacting everyone involved – wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities. For wish kids, just the act of making their wish come true can give them the courage to comply with their medical treatments.
This year as we celebrated our 33rd year as a DB&A Family in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, we once again exceeded our fundraising goal, and helped make 15-year old Lia’s WISH come true!
Lia and her family joined DB&A Friday evening and she delivered a PowerPoint presentation that expressed her obsession with Japan since she was a very little girl. She is excited to learn more about the culture, explore the museums and gardens, and most importantly, enjoy authentic Japanese food!
We are thankful for all of the donations provided by our DB&A family members and wish Lia a wonderful experience in Japan.
